Traditional spring ploughing ceremony held in Chongye County, Lhoka City

As an old Chinese saying goes, “The whole year's work depends on a good start in spring.” Tibetan people share the same mind. March 17, 2018, also January 30 in Tibetan calendar, is an auspicious day for local famers to start the farming season.
