8 Tibetan artworks to be exhibited in National Museum on July 10

According to the Mass Art Gallery of Tibet Autonomous Region, the 3rd Chinese Contemporary Crafts and Art Biennial Exhibition will be held on July 10 in the NationalMuseum and 6 Tibetan masters' 8 artworks will be exhibited.

"8 Tibetan artworks will be exhibited on the exhibition, among which there are 4 Thangka and 4 sets of metal fabricating. What's more, all the artworks are authoritative and recently created in Tibet," says Ngawang Tenzin, deputy curator of the Mass Art Gallery and deputy director of Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center.

This year's exhibition consists of two parts. The first part includes jade carving, stone carving, bamboo carving and traditional furniture, while the second part includes ceramics, lacquerware, Thangka and smithcraft.
