Milk is indispensable food for Tibetans. Milking and making butter are special skills for Tibetan women on northern Tibet grassland. Now, this traditional working way has entered the art gallery. The scene of making butter can be seen in dances, songs, films and television programs.

Dairy products are main food in Tibetans' daily life. Dairy products can be divided into fresh milk, yoghurt, cheese, butter and so on.
